Living at Clear Creek Tahoe you’ll find yourself enjoying spring wildflowers and that cool mountain air the minute you step outside your door. If you’re looking for a longer hike or mountain bike excursion, we have our own trail system that meanders through golden meadows fringed by Jeffrey pines, next to babbling brooks, and up to rocky outcroppings with 100-mile views. Clear Creek is a place inspired by and committed to enjoying, and preserving, this breathtaking and historic land. And so our footsteps are always light. Our trails are sturdy, invigorating and built with an eye for conservation.
If you are looking for just a short outing but one with some hills involved, try Lookout Trail — 2.5 miles that provide stunning views from Clear Creek Overlook. Headwaters Trail (5.1 miles) starts right near the Clubhouse (or you can pick it up near the bridge) and loops around the heart of the community, skirting Summit Camp, our new family campus set to open this summer. The Clear Creek Trail at 10.5 miles climbs to 6,200 feet and provides beautiful vistas of the valley and the mountains beyond. There’s an abundance of riches to choose from here and four glorious seasons to enjoy them in, so grab your walking stick, your dog, and your friends and head out into the wild blue yonder.
