There is no better place to spend long summer days than Summit Camp — the perfect getaway for the whole family. Here are pools for sunning and swimming, bocce, fire pits, and games for kids of every age. There’s a water slide through the pines that is in a world of its own – crafted from massive 100-year-old timbers reclaimed from the adjoining Schneider Ranch. Even at high summer in the High Sierras you’ll still be asking for just another minute in a glorious day.

Introducing Clear Creek’s newest amenity, Bill & Ben’s – a lively gathering spot named in honor of the legendary designers of the Club’s nationally ranked course. A tribute to the game’s legacy at Clear Creek, the space is adorned with vintage golf memorabilia, including Ben Crenshaw’s Ryder Cup golf bag, a signed Masters flag from his 1984 and 1995 victories, and historic photos from the course’s construction. Members enjoy cocktails at the horseshoe bar, catching a game on one of six big screens, and testing their swing in one of two state-of-the-art TrackMan iO simulators. The grille at Bill & Ben’s serves elevated favorites, making it the perfect place to unwind after a round or connect with fellow members.
The name says it all — everything you’d need for a day on the links and all the little essentials you may have forgotten. So, whether it’s a full set of clubs fitted for your game, a new stylish wardrobe for the course, or a grab and go nosh to take home for lunch, half the fun is browsing and scratching that retail itch.
Clear Creek members currently have access to private, four-mile guided floats on the West Walker River at Tailwater Ranch, a short drive south from Carson City. Fishing is catch and release with barbless hooks in keeping with the core purpose of sustainability. Conservation efforts, always paramount at Clear Creek, include initiatives to invigorate Lahontan trout, one of the archival species in the region.
Set quietly along the highest point of the 18th fairway are four fairway cabins, traditional, rough-hewn on the outside with metal roofs, they are pamperingly soft and well-appointed inside. Steps to the golf and main clubhouses, the cabins are an inviting accommodation for guests visiting the club.
